Our Story

Von Elgg Consulting was founded by Maurits Werdmuller Von Elgg with the sole purpose of providing unparalleled land development related services to land developers, municipal agencies, engineering/land surveying firms, builders and realtors. 

Prior to starting Von Elgg Consulting, Maurits held the position of Project Manager for the City of San Francisco’s Infrastructure Task Force while working as a consultant under Hawk Engineers, Inc.  This role included the management of several landmark developments such as Mission Bay, Hunters Point, Hunters View, Treasure Island, Yerba Buena Island and several others. In this unique role, Maurits had the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the needs of both the public and private sector.
